Jane is the r!63 version of Jacen Solo (of the EU) but she's further AU'd into the Disney continuity for simplicity. ~~Then Li and I accidentally started a TFP crossover and there was no turning back from there.~~
She is the younger sister to Ben Solo. She's Force-sensitive, but she showed no particular talent growing up except for empathy, which allows her to connect and bond easily with animals and other species. Still, she and Ben were close, or at least she looked up to her brother a great deal, so was later sent to join Ben in Jedi training — despite their parents' misgivings.
She stuck with Ben in the aftermath of the Jedi temple incident, joining him in the First Order. Snoke, however, placed her in the military, where she was simply given the designation TN-3154 as a TIE fighter pilot. As Ben rose up the ranks and became Kylo Ren, she too succeeded in her own field, though with much difficulty given the First Order's male-dominated structure; she later became known as Caedus, their most ruthless pilot, with her telltale red-accented Silencer.
Though their years in the First Order strained their relationship, when Ben became Supreme Leader he brought her into High Command... before revealing that he'd intended for her to represent the First Order in the "Galactic Council" he was establishing. She was then sent to negotiate with the Cybertronians, who wanted access to the First Order's kyber resources, thereby meeting Starscream.
Instead of bargaining on behalf of the First Order, she offered an alternative: she would supply the Cybertronians with a secret location to mine kyber away from the First Order's knowledge, in exchange for an "apprenticeship" with the Cybertronians, to learn about them and their culture... and perhaps gain some allies when she eventually plans to betray the Supreme Leader.
With the kyberite used to seed the Hot Spot, it developed 11 healthy newsparks... with the unintended side effect of them becoming Force-sensitive, and to whom Jane becomes extremely attached.

Personality: The Solo siblings were figures of galactic political significance even before they were born. They had a sheltered yet well-provided life, with strict security measures put in place to protect them both from the many kidnapping attempts as well as the threat of exposure and corruption to the dark side. As a result, they became very close to each other, although they hardly had any friends their age.

Jane was tremendously mischievous as a child, seeing rules as challenges and adults as spoilers of fun, embarking on all sorts adventures. But while Ben had an affinity for technology, Jane's talent was with animals; she had no fear of them, not even the venomous or carnivorous ones, and she would eagerly interact with and befriend them. Despite her playful misbehavior and cocky overeagerness, however, she developed a strong sense of duty; it couldn’t be helped, she grew up watching her parents and uncle spend so much time serving the galaxy in some capacity. So it became ingrained in her that it was the right thing to do, coupled with the expectation to uphold the family legacy.

As she grew older, she became more thoughtful, more philosophical, asking questions and challenging ideas. She came to see one's path as a Jedi as something deeply personal, a matter of spiritual connection to the Force — and in turn questioned her own weaknesses and deficiencies, as her training revealed that she didn't possess the traditional Jedi skillset, unlike the others Luke had recruited.

While in the First Order, she became darker and more ruthless, learning to fend for herself and to survive in a place that was actively trying to wear her down through scheming and politicking and even playing dirty. She learned how to endure pain, though she also wound up with the bad habit of indulging in self-destructive behavior when stressed out or emotionally troubled. And she began to accept the philosophy of choosing and acting, that instead of spending her life second-guessing her decisions and relying on those she used to trust, she would act as she deemed best and accept the consequences.

She appears loyal to the First Order, but her loyalty is to her family first and foremost, and then to herself. (Which, of course, makes the whole Kylo Ren thing complicated.) Her family seems to have expanded to include the Cybertronians, to which she's become strangely attached — and moreso the newsparks, who have awakened her fiercely protective maternal side. Despite her darker traits and tendencies, she's actually outgoing and nice (though her jokes are horrible) to those who treat her well, even standing up for those she considers her friends, and she has a soft spot for fellow soldier types who are really only just following orders. She knows how to drink and party and have fun, but when it's time for work, she's serious and determined to achieve what she needs to. She's competitive and won't back down from a challenge, especially when it involves flying. Make her angry though and she'll fly into a blind rage... before all that anger coalesces into something cold and dark and very likely murdery.

While she doesn't have the trademark blonde-and-blue features of her bloodline, she's strong in the Force, the ancient magic of her family. She's a gifted skinchanger, and she eventually dabbled in esoteric magic in her quest for knowledge, including Sith alchemy. During her travels, she viewed the Throne of Balance and saw a dark, armored figure ruling the world and surrounded by dark acolytes, and became determined to prevent that future's fulfillment. She later came upon the supposedly dead Darth Sidious in Exegol and, believing him to be the Dark Man, killed him and took over the Sith Eternal and its massive fleet.

HISTORY WITH THE STARKS

Jane's maternal grandfather, Bail Organa, was among the leaders of the Rebel Alliance, and in the course of his work for the rebellion, he ended up in Winterfell and befriended Rickard Stark. Though never mentioned publicly, the two forged an alliance between their houses.

Leia would visit Winterfell many years later with her family in tow. A fleet of warships had been sighted northwest of the Rim, but the rest of the Federation was unconcerned, dismissing the sightings as mere rumors. She was, however, certain that it was the Imperial remnant, and that they were mobilizing to take back the Federation. Ignored by her peers, she sought to take action herself, seeking out Alderaan's allies.

That visit only became the first of many. The Organa children, in fact, were later left with the Starks for months at a time.

THE SKYWALKER LEGACY

The Skywalkers are members of a bloodline particularly strong in the Force. Jane is a Skywalker on her mother's side, the granddaughter of the so-called Chosen One — a Jedi named Anakin Skywalker, who fell to the dark side and became Darth Vader, Lord of the Sith and warlord of the Empire. She is unaware of her legacy until much later in her life, however, as Leia had been adopted by the Organas during the war, concealing her true identity.

Jane's Force abilities include:

Greensight - prophetic dreaming; a form of precognition
Warging - ability to enter the mind of an animal and experience and/or control its actions; unlike most wargs, she can influence more than one animal at a time, and she can do it without going comatose or losing consciousness
Tapas - keeping warm in cold places
healing minor injuries and suppressing responses to pain
enhanced reflexes, along with some form of battle precognition which allows her to anticipate attacks

As a Skywalker, she also has a predisposition to the dark side of the Force, most especially when overcome by intense emotions.

Went backpacking after graduation, insisting she needed to see the world for her future business endeavours. Her parents let her go, but her mother made her promise to try her hand in politics when she returns. She’s been actively staying out of the country since.
Got dared to submit an application to Miss Earth USA and was too competitive to back down when she got shortlisted. She won and went international, where she was one of the runners up. Went on the winners' tour and liked the lifestyle so much she stayed on as WWF Ambassador.
